Beacon Funding’s Todd Chase Elected TRAA Associate Member Representative

Northbrook, IL, June 29, 2015 — Beacon Funding is proud to announce the election of our own Todd Chase, Business Development, to the Towing and Recovery Association of America (TRAA) Board of Directors as the Associate Member Representative. Chase was chosen in the recent April election by TRAA members and will assume his new position this September.

“I am thrilled to be elected to the TRAA Board of Directors,” said Chase. “I am completely committed to TRAA, its members, and this industry I’ve been a part of for more than two decades. I look forward to being a contributor to the voice of the towing and recovery industry,” Chase continued. “I could not be more honored to have the opportunity to work with the leaders of towing and recovery services.”

The Associate Member Representative position serves a vital role in the organization. As an elected position, Chase will bring a different and unique prospective to the board. Serving as a Cabinet member, Chase will also be involved in the governance of the TRAA organization and will be the liaison to the board for all TRAA associate members.

Chase comes into his new role with extensive industry knowledge and more than 20 years of towing and recovery experience. Chase’s current resume speaks for itself, as he is currently the Vice President of the Statewide Towing Association (STA) and has previously held other elected positions on the STA Board of Directors. Chase presently serves as an emergency on-call scene supervisor and Lead Trainer of STA’s Certification Program for Light, Heavy, and Advanced Heavy Duty Towing and Recovery Procedures.

“Todd brings in-depth knowledge of the industry and numerous years of experience to his new role,” said Toby McDonough, Vice President, Beacon Funding. “His many roles in different capacities will allow him to provide a unique viewpoint to the role and the TRAA board,” McDonough continued. “Having Todd in this role means that Beacon Funding and its customers now have direct access to the very latest safety information in the towing and recovery industry.”

Chase currently holds many towing and recovery related certifications including TRAA Level 3 and Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOP) Emergency Response Supervisor Certification – a set of guidelines produced and maintained by the Occupational Safety and Health Administrations (OSHA) that regulates hazardous waste operations and emergency services in the US.
